Algorithmic Trading with Matlab (updated for 2009)

I was a big fan of the previous Algorithmic Trading with Matlab video by Aly Kassam. The previous version was a great intro to Algo trading (defined very broadly as Aly admits) in Matlab. If you are using Matlab as a tool to help you trade, you would be doing yourslef a great disservice not to take an hour out of you day an watch it. Link Here.

The updated version, which debuted on May 28 2009, did NOT adhere to the law of diminishing sequels (shame on you Godfather III, just pathetic). The new video tutorial is great and differs enough from the original to warrant taking a look. Check it out Here.

Mr. Kassam is also really good about posting his code on Matlab central- so cheers to him and check out his videos.

A few people suggested that I set up a blog so here it is!

Unfortunately, I had to take down the wiki and forum(I did not really delete them, I just took the links down), because no one was posting anything but spam. The forum was riddled with adds for Viagra and some spam-bot messed up the wiki in a language that I am guessing is Russian.

Fortunately, a lot of people have been emailing me with some pretty positive feedback!

So now what I would really like is some suggestions on how I could improve the site. What video tutorials would you like to see? What kinds of things are you having problems with?
